Green Earth Prefolds are among the most natural baby diapers because they are made of 100% cotton. These diapers are Diaper Service Quality Chinese Prefolds (DSQ), they are reliable and affordable. Green Earth Diapers are the same diapers used my many diaper service companies and can withstand industrial washings and dryings! They are available to purchase in Unbleached or Bleached!

Care and Content:
These diapers will come to you UNWASHED and must be washed prior to use! To prep your prefolds wash at least five times in HOT water and dried in the dryer to remove the natural oils from the cotton. After drying the prefolds, test the absorbency. Squirt some water onto a dried diaper. If the water beads up and rolls off, they are not ready and will need more washings. If the water absorbs into the cotton, they are ready. Over time, your prefolds will continue to fluff up and become more absorbent after washings.
For soiled prefolds: wash with a cloth diaper friendly diaper detergent in hot water. Dry in dryer or hang to dry to naturally bleach!! Using bleach is not recommended and is not necessary if your wash water is HOT! A High Efficiency washer with a sanitary cycle is the easiest way to get the cleanest prefolds.
Allow for 10% shrinkage after washing/drying!
We now have a prewash option for your Prefolds!! Let me take the stress out of prepping your Prefolds by letting me do the work! If you choose the Prewash option, Prefolds will be washed generally 4-5 times (ie Wash hot/cold rinse, dry warm, Wash hot/cold rinse, dry warm etc). I will perform a leak test on them, if they are not ready I will wash them again! Prefolds will be washed in a Cloth Diaper Friendly Laundry Detergent: Country Save!
