This is our starter set for our Montgomery Schoolhouse building blocks. Excellent quality hard maple building blocks in all the standard shapes, in proportion to each other. This set has 21 pieces with 8 different shapes. The base block is 1" X 2" X 4" Each set comes in a sturdy box for storage. These blocks are unfinished.

The wood, primarily rock maple, used to create these beautiful toys is from the forests around Vermont. The toys are produced in-house from raw timber, and then transformed into magical toys for all ages to enjoy. Safety and Age Recommendations: All of our products with small parts or moving wheels should be considered for ages three and up. Since Maple Landmark specializes in products teaching children letters and other shapes from their environment, preschool is the appropriate age range for the trains and similar products. As kids begin school, they will take interest in our games such as tic-tac-toe and dominoes. They can then progress into mancala, solitaire games, and finally complex card games like cribbage.
